the final!!!!

‘’You’ll catch a cold if you stand there any longer,’’ he said softly.
‘’Why do you care?’’ I asked sharply. He didn’t answer and only smiled again.
He handed me the plate with the cake and said with a grin,
‘’Here’s what you longed for, princess.’’
I couldn’t help blushing to crimson, but didn’t react otherwise to this ridiculous statement. This time he was the one who laughed, so I sat down on the bed, pouting, and shoved a piece of cake in my mouth. To piss me off even more, Jared stroked my head like an adult with a stubborn child. I finished my plate quickly, even though it held four pieces of cake. I noticed that Jared wasn’t eating his and was staring at me. I jumped when he suddenly raised one hand and wiped his thumb over my lips.
‘’You had a bit of crème there,’’ he said and licked it off his thumb. I blushed again and looked away.
‘’You’re so cute.’’ I heard Jared say under his chuckles. I blushed even more, even though he told me that every other day. He was still staring at me, waiting for God knows what, so I pointed quietly at the desk where the DVD was.
‘’Ah, yeah sorry. I forgot,’’ he said and shoved the DVD into the player. I tried to get more comfy on his bed when he suddenly shouted ‘’Wait!’’ and crawled behind me to wrap his arms around me. I sighed again and leaned against him to show that I was okay with it.


‘'Wow. That was awesome,’’ I said after the film was over.
‘’Yeah,’’ Jared answered, seem a bit bored.
‘’S’something wrong?’’ I asked, confused about his reaction.
‘’Hmm? No, why?’’ he  replied
‘’Didn’t you like the film?’’ I was a bit worried that I had made him watch a movie he didn’t  like.
Jared noticed my unease and suddenly smiled. He said,‘’I already watched this movie a couple times,  so I’m not that excited  about seeing it again.’’
‘’Okay, so are you only acting depressed because of the sugar deficit?’’ I said out of  context, which surprised Jared. I knew he would wonder what I meant and used his confusion to pick up a piece of his cake and shoved it in his mouth. I obviously caught him by surprise, because he looked a bit shocked. But then he swallowed it and asked for more. When I was about to feed him the next piece, I pulled my hand  back at the last second and put it into my own mouth. Jared grinned
‘That was my piece of cake. Do you want me to take it back from you?’’
‘’I don’t know how you’re going to do that, but go ahead and try.’’ I said. His grin grew even wider when he heard my words. He took a piece of cake and crammed it into my mouth. I was chewing when Jared suddenly pressed his lips against mine. I allowed my mouth to open, and I could feel him stealing some of the cake. I can’t explain the way I felt when he finally let go. I felt dumbfounded, shocked, embarrassed, taken by surprise and… a bit dissapointed. It was my first kiss, and I wasn’t even surprised that Jared was the one. I knew this was going to happen eventually. Especially after the dream and the thousands of hints from Jared. I think we both knew it would come.
Jared watched me, obviously waiting for my reaction. Finally, he asked:
‘’Uhmm… Eric? Are you okay?’’
I was still in a daze, or in a state of shock. I wasn’t sure what the difference was between these two feelings. I looked back at Jared. I knew he was  trying hard to figure out how I felt, but I had a strong feeling that no matter what my reaction, he wouldn’t regret that kiss.
‘’Could you do that again?’’ I finally asked after five more minutes of awkward silence.
‘’What?!’’ Jared replied.
‘’Kiss me again. It felt good.’’ My voice was in a strange monotone, I guess because I didn’t know how to express my feelings, and that was the best I could do. Jared looked surprised, but he didn’t  wait for me to ask  a second time.

We were still sitting opposite each other on the bed.  Jared slowly pulled me closer. He kissed me softly at first, but my lips longed for more than that. Jared’s kisses were intoxicating and addictive. The longer we held contact, the more passionate and hot our kiss got. The shyness was gone after a while, and our lips got used to each other like they never wanted to let go again.
In the end I found myself pressed down on the bed the same way as in my dream. I heard Jared say, panting slightly,  ‘’This is exactly what I dreamt about last night.’’
I smiled and answered, ‘’ My dream was about the same thing. …And by the way, I love you.’’
